Huge M.A.C and Sephora Haul

So I have recently gotten back from Florida and of course I went to Sephora, who couldn't when you travel to the USA. I'm going to start off with what I picked up from M.A.C as there isn't at much to talk about. So the first thing I picked up was a M.A.C eyeshadow in the shade Antiqued, I love this shade and have been wearing it a lot since I bought it, the second thing I picked up was a M.A.C Paint Pot in Painterly, I have been using this since I bought it, I have no idea what I did without this.

So on to what I picked up in Sephora, and there is a lot, I spent a lot of money in Sephora but I had been saving up and didn't spend as much as I thought I would.

The first thing I picked up was the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrushed Foundation in Fair Light Neutral, I had wanted this foundation for ages, and I am so pleased that I purchased this, the coverage is amazing and depending in what type of brush you use will depend in the amount of coverage, this is a very build able foundation and I have worn this a lot since I got my hands on it. To go with this foundation I picked up the Pro Flawless Light Powder Brush in 50, this is an amazing brush and i love using it with this powder foundation, as it gives a very natural finish.

I also picked up on of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed, I have worn is everyday since I purchased it, I think it is save to say I am in love with this, very natural blush that just makes you look healthy.

Now on to all the brow products I picked up, I used to be the person that didn't do much to her brows as I though it didn't make a difference and oh I was wrong so I knew that I needed to pick up the Anataisa Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Dark Brown, I have been using this every time to do my make-up.  The next brow product I picked up was the Anataisa Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown, I normally use them went I am doing a full face of make-up, I wore this for my graduation.
I also picked up the Sephora Brow Filler 100, I love this brush it works really well for filling in my brows it works really well.

The next thing I picked up was the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper  I have needed a new felt tip liner for while and I had hear good things about this, I have to say that I love this eye-liner, its just a shame that I can't buy this easily in the UK.

I also picked up the Bite Neutral Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo in Date and Fig, I struggle to find neurtal lipsticks that suit my skintone but both fig and date suit me really well and they are prefect to carry around in handbag and are prefect for days when I don't want to have to worry about my lip colour fading. I also picked up Bite Luminous Creme Lipstick in Fig  I love this colour so much and I wanted the full size.

If you have read my blog before you may realised that I have a love of Red lipstick, so I picked up the Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 01, this is a love red shade it is long wearing and amazing.

I have wanted a spot cleaner for ages so I picked up the Sephora Daily Brush Cleaner, this cleans by brushes quickly and it doesn't take them very long to dry and they feel so nice after I use this.

The next things I got with points, the first thing was a travel size  Living Proof Instant Texture Mist, I like this as it gives my hair a little it more texture, I like using this when I am not doing much to my hair. The next thing I got was the Sephora Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear- Waterproof, this is a beautiful blue eye-liner that looks amazing when I am I wearing wear very little on my eyes.
The last thing is the birthday present from Sephora, it was the Nars Duo in Cruella and Rikigien, I love both of these colour and will get a lot of wear out of them.

What I got for Christmas 2014

So just to point out I'm not bragging about what I got for Christmas I was very spoilt this year and I am very appreciative to everyone that got me presents

So my parents got me the Urban Decay On the Run Palette, I am in love with it all the shade are very wearable and I can safely say this is coming to Florida with me.

They also got me Memory Maker, which is where you pay for all your photos in Disney before you go and will save you money, as paying for all your photos when you are out there will cost a lot of $. This present was a complete surprise to me as I had know idea they were planning it and the fact that my dad spent time making  just made my day.

They also got me the Alien Perfume and I have been wearing it non stop since Christmas day.

I am obsessed with owls so they got me a new money box and some notebooks books with owls on.

She also got me some socks, more PJs and an owl nomination charm for my bracelet and it is so cute. My grandma also gave me some money which she does every year.

My Great-Grandad also gave me some money and he has been doing this for years.

My Auntie got me some make-up, I am always surprised when she gets me presents as she said when I turned 18 that she would stop but she hasn't so I am always grateful when she gets me presents. she got me the benefit There're real Mascara, Nail's Inc Rich Ink gift sets and a lipstick from Liz Earle.

Now my Grandma and Grandad Miller, gave me some money that is going towards Florida, but they also got me a charm, I haven't decided what I am going to do with it yet but it will end up on something. They also got be a very cute compact mirror which will go into my make-up bag as it is very cute. I also got the Its Pink perfume from Next.

My Auntie and Uncle got me some slippers, which as so comfy and very cute, they also got me some socks which as also very cute. Claire got me a Rose Scented Candle, I don't normally like Rose scented things but this smells really nice and I am just waiting to burn it. She also got me a positivity journal which is a similar concept to the wreck it journal, she got me Vivianna Westwood Cheeky Perfume

Where have I been ?

So this post is an explanation to where I have been over the past few months, the last time i blogged was in September and I ended up taking a break and it wasn't intentional.

I started back at university at the end of September and I haven't really come up for air since, the thought of taking a break from university work to do anything other than sleeping has been difficult for me to do.

Since I started blogging I have used it as away to take my mind off university work and I haven't had that for a few months and I have been a complete stress head, so the idea of writing something that wasn't my ethics submission or assignments caused me more stress.

I am now getting back into blogging and I might only end up posting once or twice a week but that is all I can manage at the moment.

Makeup Starter Kit - Drugstore

I was looking though my makeup and decided that I would so a makeup starter kit including some of the products that I love.

For Base:
The base I would choose would be the No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation and I always forget about No7 as they are always at the front of boots with the high end makeup, which I try to avoid, but when I remember they do amazing foundations. They also colour match which is great as all of there colours are the same across all there foundations so it is really easy to buy a new foundation once you know there shade and they will also tell you your summer shade too.
Right onto the foundation itself the coverage is light to medium and is easy to build and I love applying this with my fingers as it makes it very quick and easy. it is also suitable for all skin types, which is always a bonus.
There are two concealers that are really good for covering up any blemishes and that is the Seventeen Phwoarr Paint that is branded as an under eye concealer however I find that it is too heavy for under my eye but great at covering anything else.
For under eye concealer I would recommend the Seventeen Stay Time Concealer as it isn't to heavy and really helps to brighten the eye area.
For powder I would recommend the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder that is really great for keeping makeup in place and it helps to control oil.

For eyes:
I would recommend any of the Sleek eye shadow palettes, I have the Sleek i-Divine Storm Palette and as with all sleek products it is a highly pigmented and the palette is very versatile, the palette contains 12 eyeshadows, two are matte and they are both neutral browns and there are 10 shimmery shades. This palettes is great for creating both day and night looks.

For Cheeks:
I would recommend the Sleek Blushes, like the eye shadows they are very pigmented and you have to be careful when applying them but they are lovely and come in a range of shades. My favourites are Flushed for autumn/winter and Rose Gold for spring/summer.

For Lips:
I would recommend a your lips but better colour as it can be worn both day and night and for a starter lipstick it would be a great place to start, for my lips but better colour I use the Rimmel Lasting Finish in the shade Asia.

August Favourites

So it is the time of the month where I tell you all about the products that I have using and loving this month and I really can't believe that August is over all ready.

The first thing I have been completely in love with this month is the No7 Superlight Foundation in the shade Calico, which I have reviewed if you want to check it out you can click here. I really love this foundation as it is the perfect colour for my skin tone and as I haven't needed a lot of coverage this month I have found my self wearing it a lot. It last really well on my although I do still have to powder during the day I don't have to do it as much as it contains some powder within the foundation itself.

The next thing I have enjoyed using has been my John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full Shampoo for Colour Treated Hair and the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full Conditioner, I really like them as they lather well and leaving my hair feeling really clean and they do give a hint of volume which is good as I do have quite flat hair.

The third thing I have been in love with is my Topshop Cream Blush in the shade Head over Heels, which looks very bright in the pan but once it is applied to the cheeks it gives a lovely peachy glow to the cheeks and it can be paired with a lot of different eye and lip looks as it does give a healthy glow to the cheeks and it is perfect for spring summer but I think I will find myself wearing this in winter too. I also love the cream to powder finish.

A skin care favourite this month in the Eucerin Purifyer Cleanser, Becca from a Polkadot Notebook Blog gave me a sample as she though that I would like it. I have I to say that I am completely in love with it and although it is a purifying cleanser it doesn't dry my skin out and I have to say it does work really well to clean up any breakouts I might be having.

I have also fallen back in love with an old skin care product and it is the Clearasil Daily Clear Deep Cleansing Pads, I use these instead of a tone on an evening and I find that these also help to clear up my skin and they do sometimes sting if I have a spot but it does really help to clean them up.

No7 Stay Prefect Superlight Foundation- Review

I bought this foundation a few weeks ago as I wanted something that was lighter than my normal foundation but something that wouldn't melt off my face within about an hour. I was also looking for something that I could also carry around with me when I was going swimming.

My friend has been using this foundation for while so I decided to give it ago and I went in to boots and was colour matched as the lightest shade (I don't no why I bother being colour matched).

So what can I say about this foundation well as the name suggests it is a light foundation that has light to medium coverage and it is great for just evening out the skin and I feel like I can get away with not wearing concealer, but it doesn't completely cover them but it does make them less noticeable.

Straight after appliction

6 hours later

The foundation itself has some powder in it which does help to slightly matte down my face and although it says it lasts for 24 hour I would say it lasts that long but it does look good during the day. I do however feel the need to powder it as I do tend to look quite shiny as the day goes on but that is normal with any foundation.

I have also worn this with and without a primer and I have found that it lasts a little longer with a matte primer as it help to control my oily skin.

I do really like this foundation and for its price I can't really complain £14.50 but No7 have a lot of offers on so it is possible to get it a little cheaper, and although it is more expensive than my Rimmel Match Perfect I prefer this foundation as it gives better coverage and it always looks good.

Beauty wish list

So this is my Beauty Wish list

Elemis Fresh Skin, Skin Clear Mattifying Moisturiser £21.00: I have been looking for a very mattifying moisturiser, as my current one is running out and doesn't really help to control oil as much as I would like it too.

Illimasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow £17.50:
I have wanted a cream contour for a while but everyone I have seen has either been to dark or too orange for my very pale skin, but this colour looks like it would work really well.

Superfacialist Clay Mask £5.99:
Now I know that I can buy this online but with skin care I love going in to boots and looking around, I have been after this mask since Christmas when I bought my friend one as a Christmas present and it took me an age to find one and every time I have been into boots since it hasn't been in stock :(

Eucerin Purifyer Cleanser £9.50:
I have been using a sample of this for a few weeks that my friend gave me as she has raved about it and I have to say it is an amazing cleanser, which really does amazing things to my skin and really helps to stop breakouts.

Seven Deadly Sins Tag

1. Greed, What is you most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
My most inexpensive beauty item has to be one of my Makeup Revolution Eye shadow Palettes. My most expensive beauty item has to be my Urban Decay Naked Palettes.

2. Wrath, What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
The beauty product that has been hardest to get, in fact I still haven't got it is the Super Facialist Anti Blemish Clay Mask, and yes I could buy this online but every time I have gone into boots it has been out of stock. The product I have a love/hate relationship with is my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation as some days it will look really nice and others it will look streaky.

3. Gluttony, What are your most delicious beauty product?
My most delicious beauty product would have to my Nuxe Reve de Miel as I love the smell and the product is amazing too.

4. Sloth, What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?
I normally neglect my eyebrows as I have rather full eyebrows and I can't really but bothered to do much to them.

5. Pride, What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
Lipstick is the product that gives me the most self confidence, and a good matte moisturiser too as hate it when my skin gets very oily.

6. Lust, What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
Erm... I don't really but I do find someone's personality very attractive.

7. Envy, What item would you like to receive as a gift?
If it was a beauty product I would have to say a Chanel lipstick but I really like it when a lot of though has gone into it.

Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil Review

I have been using this cleanser for awhile now and I thought it was about time that I reviewed it, the body shop say that the silky soft cleanser will effortlessly remove makeup and cleanse. It's really easy to use and I do love the body shop skin care as it has helped me out a lot in the past.

So now that we know what the body shop say it does let's hear my opinion, I have to say I love the smell of this product and it's not a over powering, I find the smell quite relaxing which is always nice for a cleanser.
The purpose of the cleanser is to remove make up and cleanse your face, so pretty simple really.

The texture of this cleanser is really soft and does feel amazing on the skin which is nice and it really does making removing makeup quick and easy which is always good as it doesn't take me an age to remove makeup and cleanse your face.

The packaging is really practical as it is clear which means you can see exactly how much product you have left and the pump is great as you don't end up with too much product so you don't waste much of the product. Another great thing about the product as on the back to gives clear instructions on how to use the product which is always a bonus ( I hate products that don't tell you how to use them).

As I have already said I really love this and it works really well it removes makeup really quickly and easily and it doesn't leave you skin feeling greasy or oily which is always good and I have found that I can use this with my oily skin and if says it is for all skin tupe and I have to say I agree with it as this would work on all skin types. I also love the fact that this can be used to remove eye makeup as I dislike having to use to different products to remove my makeup.
I would say that anyone can use this product, it's isn't anti aging but it would be suitable for anyone looking for a great way to remove makeup and cleansing their face. I will definitely repurchase this once I have finish it, which might take me awhile.

The cleanser costs £10.00 and you get 200ml of product.

You can find the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil here.

July Favourites

I really can't believe that it is the end of July already, so on to my July favourites

The first thing I have fallen back in love with is my Naked 2 palette, as I love my neutral eyeshadows and I have also been loving my purple eyeshadow from Inglot.

The second thing I have been loving this month is my Body Shop Camolie Cleansing oil as it makes taking my makeup off so quick and easier which is always brilliant, and it smell lovely too which is always a bonus for skin care.

For makeup brushes I have been completely in love with my new Crown Blush brush, as I can apply any type of blusher with is which is great and it means that I can apply my blusher to exactly where I want it which I struggled to do with my Real Techniques Blush Brush.

Another makeup favourite has to be my Estée Lauder Double wear foundation in the shade Ivory Nude,  although this is a very full coverage foundation it doesn't feel to heavy on my skin and it is the only foundation that won't melt of my face as the day goes on which is something I really struggle with in summer.

Early in the month I bought a new scrub from the body shop as my peach scrub had ran out so i decided to try the body shop Blueberry Scrub Gelee which I have to say I have fallen completely in love with as it is a very good scrub but I doesn't leave a sticky residue on my skin like some suger scrubs, for example soap and glory flake away.

Another thing I have been wearing a lot of this month is my body shop body mist in vinyard peach, it is a lovely stuble smell that lasts quite well on me, and it isn't a hassle to apply like my miniatures from L'Occitane.

That is it for my July favourites and I would love it if you could follow me on twitter and on bloglovin.

Face of the Day 1

So I have decided to start doing face of the days as I love reading what makeup people are wearing so let's talk about what I have on my face today.

Base:
The first thing I have is my Body Shop Skin Primer Matte It, which is a nice primer it's not as amazing as the benefit Porefessional but it does help to keep my oily skin under control, for foundation I used my Illmasqua Liquid Light foundation which I do really like although I do have to power it as it isn't a matte foundation, for my blemishes I used my Seventeen Phwoarr Paint in the Shade fair which does blend into my skin really well. To conceal my under eye circles I used my MaxFactor CC colour corrector for dark circles and my Seventeen Stay time 18 hour concealer.

Eyes:
The first thing used was my Makeup Revolution focus and fix eye primer in matte, I the used my Naked 2 palette, the shades I used was booty call all over my lid, tease in my crease and busted in the outer corner and for Mascara I used my benefit they're real.

Cheeks:
For blush I used was my Revlon Photo Ready blush in Flushed, which is a lovely pink shade and for Bronzer and contour was my Bodyshop Honey Bronzer in the shade 02, which is a really lovely shade that isn't too dark for me. For highlighter I used my Makeup Revolution vivid baked highlighter in the shade peach lights, which gives a lovely glow to the skin and my Rimmel matte power to set everything into place,

Lips:
Strangely for me I'm not actually wearing anything on my lips and if I do I am wearing my Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm or my lip butter in the shade tutti fruiti.

My Orange Lipsticks

So as you may or my not be aware I have a major love of lipstick and just realised that I have quite a lot of orange lipsticks well four that are almost the same colour, so let's get on to the lipsticks.

The first one I have is my MAC Lady Danger which is an orangey red colour, which I have to say I fell in love with it as soon as I swatched it but I have mentioned that before so, back to the post. Now while I was swatching these I noticed that one of my Rimmel lipsticks was a very similar colour not formula wise but they are definitely similar in colour.

So I have to say my Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in the shade In Love with Ginger is a little bit more orange than Lady Danger but is very similar in colour but the finish of the lipstick is a lot more moisturising and is lot more comfortable to wear during the day as it doesn't dry my lips out.

The next orange lip colour I have is my Revlon Color Burst Matte Balm in the shade Audacious, which is a pure orange colour and although it is a matte lip colour its isn't as drying as my other matte lipsticks which means that it is very comfortable to wear.

Now my last orange lip colour is one I got a few years ago and it was the first orange colour I had and it is my Revlon Lip Butter in the Shade Tuti Fruiti, which just giving a lovely was of orange over the lips and will look different depending on how dark your own lip colour is and because it is a lip butter is isn't drying on the lips which is always a bonus in the summer months.

London and IMATS

So last Sunday Me and Becca from (Polkadot Note Book) took a trip down to IMATS and we were really excited, as we have wanted to go for a while but never found the time to go. So when she suggested it I got my dad to book the train tickets as I was going straight back down to London after coming back from holiday.
We got an early train that got us to London around 11 o'clock which was great, we were getting the train back again at 7 o'clock so we had quite a lot of time. So the first thing we did was buy our tube tickets which I think was the most nerve wrecking part of getting on the tube once we had our tickets we made our way over to Olympia National where IMATS was being held.

We then applied the Disney principle which is you head to the back and work your way forwards, so our first stop was crown brushes where I did actually pick up some brushes up more on that later we then wandered around for a while and ended up at Inglot were we stood for a bit but then decided to wander again, we then made a purchase at Ellis Faas (more on this later) and headed back to Inglot were we made our palettes and sadly I wasn't having much luck here as every matte purple I tried to buy they had sold out of so I ended up coming away with three colours which I adore (I will get a matte purple soon), so we then made another brush purchase which I have to say I am already in love with.

We then left IMATS as we both felt we had done what we wanted to and get what we wanted and we wanted to use the rest of our day to explore London as it is a long time since either of us have been, so we basically hope back on the tube and went to explore and other stories and I have to say we weren't that impressed which was a shame as we had heard a lot of good things about it.

We then wandered up  Regent Street and Oxford Street, where we had a nosey in some of the shops and then we headed back to Kings Cross in hopes of finding food but nothing really took our fancy. So we head back over to Leicester Square were we spotted a nice little Italian called Bella Italia and I have to say the service was great and they were really friendly, after we finished we head back to Kings Cross and by this time we were both tired and headed home.

We both really enjoyed our day out in London and have promised ourselves that we have to go back for longer than a day as we would have loved more time to do the touristy things around London.

So as I said I picked up a few things at IMATS:

So the first thing I picked up was an some Brushes from Crown, I pickup was the BK04 angled Blush Brush and the next brush I picked up was the BK37 Round Tapered Crease Brush.
Inglot Palette
Top Left 330, Top Right 446, Bottom Left 09

I picked up an Inglot Eye Shadow Palette, the first colour is a Cream Matte Shade 330, the next shade I picked up was shimmery bronze shade 09 and the last colour I picked up was a Purple shade with a pearl finish 446 and I have to say I am in love with all of these colours and I am going pick up a Matte purple shade then my palette will be complete.

I also picked up an Ellis Faas Creamy Lips in the shade L103 which is a lovely orange- red shade that does look very dark on the sponge but not when it is applied to the lips, I fell completely in love it when I swatched it.

The last thing I picked up was a Royal & Langnickel BKABUKKI- 25 kabuki brush that is amazing for using it with powder.

Travel Makeup Bag

So as I have said I have been away which meant that I had to cull my normal makeup stash, so this what I took with me.

For base:
I took my sample of my Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, I also took two sample pots of foundation, I took my sample of YSL Tient Touché Éclat and a sample pot filled with my Rimmel Match Prefect foundation, for my concealer I took my Seventeen Phwoarr Paint which I use on my blemishes and for under my eyes I took my Seventeen Stay Time 18 Hour Concealer in the shade Extra Fair and for powder I took my Rimmel Stay Matte power in the shade 003 Peach Glow.

For Eyes:
I took my Makeup Revolution Matte Eye Shadow Primer and I also took my Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 palette, which I  have really fallen in love with, I also took my Rimmel Scandaleyes waterproof eyeliner in the shade 005 Nude and for Mascara I took my Benefit They're Real, which I have been using for a while and I do love it even though it does smudge during the day but I haven't get found a mascara that doesn't.

For Cheeks:
I took a few products for my cheeks, I took my Sleek Blush in the shade Rose Gold, which I don't use very often as it is very shimmery but I do love getting it out when it is sunny, for bronzer I took two different products, I took my Body Shop Honey Bronzer in the shade 02 and my Sleek Contour Kit in the shade Light.

For Lips:
I surprising I only took three different lips products and I took a lip balm with me which was my lip smacker, and for my lipsticks I took my L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse in the shade Rebel Red and my Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 077 Asia.

Band Focus Illamasqua

Now Illamasqua is a high end brand that I surprisingly have a a lot of products from them but I have to say that I didn't pay full price for any of them, I really love Illamasqua sales as they heavily discount sales, let's get started

The first thing I bought from them was a lipstick in the shade Sangers which is a lovely matte red shade that last a very long time, and for a lipstick hoarder I only have one of there lipstick but I hope to fix this the next time they have a sale.

The next thing was given to by my best friend as it was too heavy for her skin and it is Illamasqua Skin Base in 03 and I have to say I really like this foundation as it does give me a very flawless finish which is great of I am having a bad skin day.
The next thing I bought was there Liquid Light Foundation in the shade 133 which is the same shade as skin base which is a much lighter coverage and I tend to use this more in summer, but never when it is raining.
The next foundation I have from them Cream Foundation in the shade 133 and is the foundation that gives me the most coverage and I do find I have to power this or I feel like I get very oily but I do love the coverage that this gives.

The next product I have from there is one of their cream blusher in the Shade Seduce which is a colour that I wore a lot over the winter as a gave a winter flush to the checks which is lovely I will also be able to wear this in summer as it isn't too red, as I comes across as a little more pink.

The next thing I have are two powder eye shadows in the Shade Drama which is a lovely navy shade which was I like to use when I am doing a Smokey eye as I just gives a little bit of colour that isn't my usual browns. The next shade I have white shimmery shade in the Shade Moonflower, which is a great inner corner highlight.
I also have a Liquid Mental eye shadow in the shade Electrum which is a lovely gold cream shade, this does however have a tendency to crease when is on the eye which is a shame as it is a really lovely colour.
The next this is a Precision Ink in the shade Glister, now this I haven't got very much use out of as I don't really wear eyeliner and I am at using liquid eyeliner and it also isn't a shade that I really get along with.

The last things I own from Illamasqua is two nail varnishes in the shades Elope and Jan, Elope is a lovely green shade in the bottle but is it very sheer when it is applied to the nails which is disappointing as I had so much hope for this as I love green nail varnish and Jan is a nude colour which is very opaque and applies really nicely but this isn't a colour that I would wear often but I might have to try and wear it more as it is a nice colour.
That is it for what I have collected no from Illamasqua.

Summer lip colours

Summer Lip Colours

In summer I like to wear brighter lipsticks and more reds, and oranges and I also seem to get more use out of my lips but better colours, in winter I love the deep purple and berry red colours anyway on to my summer lips colours.

So I have a few Rimmel apocalips, and I love most of the shade I own and I must used these more as the colours are amazing, I have the shades Big Bang which is a really amazing red colours that is an amazing classic bright red which I adore and I will get a lot of wear put of these over the summer,
I have the shade Stella which is more of a coral pink compared to apocaliptic which is a bright pink and this is more of a colour colour I would wear as is slightly closer to a red,
I also have colour apocaliptic, which is a different shade of pink which I should also wear it more, I wore this the other day and remembered why I loved it and as I don't normally go for a bright pink that is saying something. I also find that they are really long lasting and wear really well.
The only colour I own and don't really like is Luna as it just really doesn't suit me at all it makes me looked washed out.
The last thing I have Fromm Rimmel is one of there Moisture Renew Lipsticks in the shade In Love with Ginger which reminds me of my MAC Lady Danger just this a glossy.

The next lips are from Revlon and they are the Lip Butters now I only have two of these and the colours I have are 015 tutti fruitti which is a really wearable orange that can be built up of you want more intensity and this is a colour I really love to wear as it is so easy to pull off and feels really nice on the lips which is always good. The next lip butter I have is a pink in the colour strawberry shortcake which is such a lovely wearable light pink which can also be built up and it does look amazing I should really wear this more.

The also have one of the Revlon kissable balm stains in the shade Romantic which I am wearing as I write this is is a lovely red shade that can be worn really shear or built up so that it is an intense colour. I also have one of the new colorbrust Matte balm in the shade audacious which is a very opaque orange which I adore as I do love bright lips.

The next lip colour I have are from L'Oréal and they are the Glam Shine Splash Stains in the Colour Lolita which is a nude colour but it is great for days when you don't want a lot of colour I also have the shade endless red which I think is called Juliette in the UK, I love both of these and do get quite a bit of wear out of them. I also have the rouge caresse in the shade rebel red and I really do love the formula but I think l'oreal , might be discontinuing them which is really sad as they are amazing. The last l'oreal lipstick I have is Color Riche in the shade Scarlett Creme and it is a really nice red lipstick I got for my birthday so I don't no where you can buy it.

The last lipstick I have to mention I'd my MAC Lipstick in the shade Lady Damger and this is an amzing matte orange red colour and it is amazing.

My Skincare Routine

Now I should point out that I really need to get back into my skin care routine, I have become slightly bored with it and it just seems like such a faff at the moment but I do really like most of the products I use so let's get on to what I use to clean my face.
In the morning I use my Body Shop Vitamin E Facial Cleansing Bar, which I use in the morning as it is very quick and easy to use and doesn't take to much time, I will then us my Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner, I have been using this for quite awhile now I have really enjoyed using it and it helps to keep  my oily skin under so control, I will then using my Nivea Daily  Oil Free Moisturising Day Cream for Oily/combination skin which also helps to keep my oily skin under control.
In the evening I will use my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish which I have been using since around Christmas and this is a really good cleanser. It is really good at removing my makeup and cleansing my skin I will normally double cleanse with this just to make sure that I have removed all of my makeup and I use a muslin cloth with this cleanser. I will again use my Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner and I then use my Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Oil in Serum and mix it in with my Nivea Regenerating Night Cream for Normal/Combination skin, which isn't my skin type but I sometimes find that it can be quite dehydrated so I like to use a moisturiser at night.
So about once or twice a week if I can be bothered (I really need to get back into a routine) I will use one of my face masks depending on how my skin is, I will either use my hydrating face mask which I'd really amazing as it is great at hydrating my skin when it needs it. I also have a detoxifying face mask which I really like and it helps my skin when I have some breakouts.

Summer Nails

In winter I tend to wear a lot of dark red and purple nail polish but in summer I like to wear either bright reds and oranges or more pastel colour depending on my mood.

So here are some of the nail polishes I love and why,

So the first one is a recent purchase and to be honest I don't get the whole scented nail polish thing but I have to say the colour is amazing and the scent isn't that bad either, the polish I am on about is the new Revlon Parfumerie in China Flower although I did find that in the bottle it doesn't look as red the colour is really amazing and I might invest in more of these. I also love the packaging of this the bottle is so cute and it would be a nice one to keep on display. The brush is something that I didn't think I would like as it look quite thin but I have to say that is a actually a really nice brush I didn't find my self struggling with it as it fans out and can coat most of the nail which is great.

The next nail polish I have is one I purchased last year and it is the Rimmel I love lasting finish in the colour 200 orange your life and this is a nice orange colour that I do like it wear on my nails and it is one of the few colours that isn't blue, and I really like the brush on this as it is wide enough that I don't struggle to paint all of my nail and it doesn't look streaky.

The next one is another Rimmel I love lasting finish in the shade 703 Pear Drop now this to be is a pastel blue shade with a slight metallic shine to it which gives a really nice effect on the nails, and as with Orange Your Life the brush is really nice and practical.

The next nail polish is one that I mentioned in a recent haul, it is the Butter London Henley Regatta, which isn't something I would normally go for I as I'm not the keen on glitters but I do like the colour which is a blue green type shade but I have to say that I love this and can be worn on it own and built up and it looks amazing and the I would defiantly get more of their polishes.

The next one is one of the Models Own Hyper Gel polishes in the shade Blue Glint, this is a lovely blue shade which has a really shiny finish which I quite like, although I did struggle to apply this the first time I used it I do really like it, and it lasts quite well and I have top say I do want to try their hyper gel top coat.

The two are both from Bourjois and the first one is one of their So Laque Glossy in the shade 05 Taupe Modèle which is a light grey shade and I wear this when I don't really want a bright or pastel nail polish and I really like it the colour and the staying power of these polishes. The next one I have from Bourjois is one of their Ultra. Shine So Laque in the shade 60 Bleu Fabuleux which is a lovely shiny blue and I also find that the staying power is very good as it says it is meant to last for up to 7 days and yes you get some wear but I isn't to obvious.

My second of last polish is one of the Barry M aquarium Collection and I have the shade 404 Arabian which is a metallic Blue Green shade and I have to say I really like this shade and of course I do like the Barry M polishes and I also hate to say it but I only own 3 of there polishes, but I do love all the shade I have.

The last polish is a one from TopShop and I have it in the shade 203 Green Room which is a lovely Bright Green Shade and it have to say it is a really nice colour but I won't say that I am completely in love with the formula, it it is okay for a few days I defiantly love the colour.

So this is all the nail polish colour I like to wear in summer and if you haven't al ready follow me on bloglovin.

Whats on My Face

So I have been meaning to do a post like for a long time anyway on to what I put on my face

I have been using lighter coverage foundation now that it is spring I have been using either Illamasqua Liquid Light Foundation or Rimmels Match Perfection, I have a love hate relationship with this as sometimes it look really nice and other times it just doesn't sit right and looks strange.

I have also been loving my new palettes from Makeup Revolution which is have mentioned in my monthly favourites, and I am really loving the shimmer shades for spring as it looks really nice I have been using my Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 palette and I have also been loving more neutral shades which just give a lovely look to the eyes. But I have also bee loving my Makeup Revolution Essential Matte palette and I have been using the light shade in the palette as it just evens out my lids. And I have been using my Benefit they're Real mascara which has to be one of my favourite mascaras.

For cheeks I have been using my cream blush from Revlon in the shade Pinched as it just gives a really subtle colour to the cheeks with I really like on my natural makeup days. I have been using the Body Shop Honey Bronzer in the shade 02, and I have also been using the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights.

For my lips I have been using two neutral lips colour which is am really enjoying the first one is an old favourite, which is my Rimmel Lipstick in Aisa which is a really lovely my lips but better shade and the other is the L'Oreal lipstick in the shade Julianna from there colour riche collection Privée which is a little bit more pick but defiantly something I would wear in summer.

And for a brighter lipstick I have been wearing my MAC lipstick in the shade Lady Danger and I absolutely adore this lipstick as it last awhile and is the most amazing orangey red colour and I am in love with it.

May Favourites

Illimasqua Liquid Light Foundation in 133:
I have had this foundation for a while now and I really love how this looks on my skin as it gives a light coverage which is build able and it is perfect for spring and summer as it doesn't feel to heavy on the skin. I have had a disaster with this foundation before as I have found that it cannot be worn when it is raining as it will melt off the face.

Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Palette:
This is a recent purchase for me and I have reviewed it, and I have completely fell in love with it and have found myself neglecting my Naked palettes which used to be my go to for my everyday makeup, the colours are so easy to wear and are really blend able.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush:
This is also something that I have had for a while and I use this brush almost every time I put makeup on it is such an amazing brush it is really easy to use and make it very easy to buff my foundation in and it doesn't take forever which is a bonus.

Sleek Contour Kit in Light:
I really like contouring my face and this is one of the best products I have used, you do have to be very careful and it is really pigmented, which makes it very quick and easy to contour my face, I also like the fact that it comes with I highlighter and it is perfect for days when I am in a hurry as it don't have to hunt around for other products.

Makeup Revolution Highlighter in Peach Lights:
While I am on the topic of highlighter I have recently purchased the highlighter in peach lights for makeup revolution and I have fallen in love with it an have been neglecting my sleek highlighter as a results it is the perfect colour for my skin and is really fine so it gives an amazing glow to the skin and because it isn't to shimmery I don't have to worry about being heavy handed.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer:
Now I have been using the Benefit Porefessional for a while and really love it but I have sadly ran out so when I received a sample of the Smashbox primer I thought I should use that before deciding whether to repurchase the Porefessional and I really like it, it feels really nice on the skin and my makeup lasts all day which is a very good thing and I no that this would not be very good for my friend Becca as she has some issues with silicones in primers and it does feel like it contains a lot.

Makeup Revolution Matte Eye Primer:
Now I have to say I have been using the Urban Decay primer potion for about a year and up until now have not found a eyeshadow primer that matched, I can now say that I have, the matte eye primer from makeup revolution is really amazing and I think I prefer it to my urban decay primer, as it stop my eyes from getting very oily throughout the day and it makes my eyeshadow stay in place which is amazing, and makeup revolution also do different types of eye primer which I might have to check out sometime.

Makeup Revolution Essential Matte Palette:
My last favourite is the Essential matte palette from make revolution (can you see a theme) I have been using this palette on the days where I can't really be bothered to spend a lot of time on my eyes and I tend too use some of the lightest shades on my eyes and use one of the browns as a very quick and simple smokey eye.
