Small Boots Haul

First I want to apologise for by lack of blog post last week, I had no inspiration to write but I'm back with as the title suggests a boots haul. I picked but one thing that was an essential and the rest were thing i just like the look of

Skin clear one touch spot stick:
Now this was the essential produce I have over the last week have been neglecting my skin care routine and now I am paying for it will some spots that are sore. So I thought I would give this a try and with it only being £1.49 it was reduced from £2.99 it made sense to try it and a friend recommend that I give it ago.

Maybelline color tattoo in Pink Gold:
This colour is not something I would normally go for but I have been trying to wear things that are out of my comfort zone and it is a really pretty colour so I thing I will get some use out of it. I might use it as a base when I and using some of my brown shades but I'm not sure get will have fun with it though.

Maybelline color tattoo in Permanent Taupe:
Now this is a colour that I have been after for a while as it is a matte and something that I could put on which means that I don't have to worry about it being to shimmery.

Maybelline Brow Drama in Dark Brown:
This is something that I hadn't really though about buying and the wand itself looks very strange but I am looking forward to seeing if it works. I am the first to admit that I don't really do much with my brows I will just leave them grow how they want. So I am hoping that it will work as I need to quick and easy brow product.

The Beauty Scenario Tag

You have to get rid of all your foundation and you can only keep one high end and one drugstore one, which do you chose?

If I had to get rid of all my foundations I would be really upset but I think I would keep my Estée Lauder Double Wear in the shade ivory nude, which is my favourite high end foundation that I will only wear open special occasions and for my drug store foundation it would have to be the Rimmel Match. Perfect foundation in the shade light porcelain, this isn't my favourite foundation but it is my only drug store foundation.

You go got an interview and the woman interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth, do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?

It would depend on the situation if it was just me and the interviewer then yes I would mention it but if we were with other people then I wouldn't say anything as that might humiliate her which would look good in an interview situation.

You are not feeling yourself and need a pick me up, what lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?

If I need a pick me up the lipstick I would wear would be M.A.C Lady Danger as I get complemented a lot when I wear this and bright colour also make me feel powerful and confident which sound strange when talking about makeup but it does.

You go back in time to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and make up differently?

If I could go back to my teenage years I would definitely do what made me happy whether that was hair and makeup or just life in general, but I would probably not get some of the hair cuts I had although I liked them at the time they didn't really suit me, I would however have kept it at should length and just straightened it more often. Makeup wise I would care more about how my make up look and that my foundation properly matched my skin and no i was not the girl that had the orange line around her face but it wasn't a complete match.

You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott cut, but they mishear and give you a pixi cut; do you : A) smile, say thank you, leave and then cry to mum hysterically. B) Cry in the chair, things get awkward, C) complain to the manager and demand a refund?

If this happened it is safe to say that I would be really upset but I would probably do A however when I get my hair cut I normally go with my mam so she would be there and probably complain and demand a refund for me.

Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break, you have one hour to pack, which "do it all" pallet do you throw in your make up bag?

I don't really have any face palettes so I would have to say I would take my Urban Decay Naked palette because I could do a lot of different eye looks, but I would also take sample pots of foundation so that I wouldn't have to carry a heavy bottle around.

Your house has been robbed, don't worry, everyone is safe but your beauty's aye  collection has been raided. What product are you really hoping is safe?

After hoping that all my lipstick were safe and in all honest I carry almost all my lipsticks around with me, so they would probably be safe however if I wasn't my lipstick then I would really hope that my perfumes La Colection De Grasse from L'Occitane, these are four small perfumes.

Your friend borrowed your make up and retuned it in an awful condition, do you; A) pretend you haven't noticed, B) ask them to replace it C) secretly do the same to their stuff.

Safe to say this has happened to be before I lent a friend some make up and it came back with teeth marks made by her dogs surprisingly I wasn't  pleased, however depending on how expensive the product was I would either pretend I hadn't notice or I would ask them to replace it especially of the product was something I loved or if it was expensive.

Gosh Growth Mascara Review

If you read my last blog post you would no that I keep this mascara in my makeup for the days that I forget to put some on and you will also no that I am not a huge fan of this mascara.

I do like the packaging of this mascara the black tube is nice and sleek, I also like that it clicks when it closes so that you know that it is properly closed. I also like the wand on this mascara and the brush is rubber which I like.

I got this mascara in a glossy box and I was excited to try it out as I have really short eye lashes, and it is branded as a growth mascara. Now I should mention that I didn't believe that this would make my eyelashes grow but I hoped it would give them length and volume. Now I should say that it did make my lashes appear long and as I side note I did wear it for 2 weeks and didn't see a difference in the length of my lashes.

At first I liked this mascara it is a very black which made my lashes stand out and as I said they looked longer, however I did notice that if I wore this mascara that I would have black flakes under my eyes and on my cheeks which was disappointing as I had high hopes of this mascara. It says that it contains SymPeptide® XLash and lengthen and thickens lashes the reason that it lengthens and thickens lashes is because it has fibres in the formulae which is fine but that could also be the reason that it flakes. This is £8.49 at Superdrug and reading the reviews written about it I can say that they are mixed, some people can see results and others can't as with any makeup product it will react differently with different people but I would not buy the mascara and it flakes on me.
