Collection 24hr Felt Tip Eyeliner

I today I thought I would do a review on the collection Eyeliner in Purple.

So my first impression when I swatches this was that it was a lovely deep purple colour, I had been after a purple felt tip liner for a whole I have a Rimmel Gel liner in Aubergine, which is a really nice colour but it was a faff to apply, so when I discovered the collection felt tip liner in purple I was over the moon and for the price I didn't think could go wrong... But more on this later.

It is really easy to apply and I am not the best at doing eyeliner but it does make it quick and simple which is a bonus as it means that I can apply it when I am in a hurry... Thumbs up
The colour is amazing and it is really pigmented and looks really nice on the eye however there is an issue with the colour, I wore this when I was going to uni.

It was a long day so when I get home I didn't think it would be that hard to remove as I have there felt tip liner in black and it is so quick and easy to remove, so I assumed that the purple would be the same I was however wrong. To remove my make up I use the Liz Earle cleanse and polish and this has never failed to remove my makeup it however had not met this eyeliner. I had removed my makeup then I notice that there was a faded blue line where my eyeliner had been on my eye so I then used my bioderma and my l'oreal misceller solutions to try and take the rest off, however it didn't quite remove the line but I did fade it a little more but you could still tell that was on my eye which is a shame as I really loved the colour but I don't wear it as it is too much hassle to remove.
The 24hr felt tip liner from collection are £2.99 I would however only recommend the black as the other swatches also stained my hand.

Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum

The first thing to say is that this review has been a long time coming. I got the body shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum for my birthday in February and have been meaning to review it since.

I have to say I really love this serum, I was a bit sceptical when I was given this by my best friend Becca, as I have really oily skin but I have to say I have fallen in love with it. As I said I have really oily skin but it can react to some products and it can be hard to tell why, there have been two products that have really dried my skin the the Olay essentials refreshing toner, and the L'OrĂ©al Skin Perfection 3 in 1 purifying Micellar Solution, so I probably got this at the perfect time as my skin was starting to get really dry and I have to admit I was using the Micellar solution a lot and visiting my grandma in hospital twice a day for about week with also really dried my skin out, not very pleasant, so this really helped to lock moisture into my skin.

On the bottle it tells you that it can be applied on two different ways first you can use it alone without a moisturiser or you can use it under moisturiser now this isn't my favourite way of using it as I feel like it didn't really do anything it just felt like it sat on my skin. I then decided to use it the second way by adding it to my night time moisturiser, now I only use a really small amount about two drops works for my and then apply the combination to my face and the next morning my skins feels amazing. I should also point out that I don't use this everyday as it could get to much for my skin, so I only really use it twice a week and if I have been neglecting my skin it will apply it more often.

I really love the packaging it comes in a plastic pink bottle that isn't too big and it has a built in pipette which is really handy and makes the product easy to use, it is small enough that it can easily fit into my toiletries bag when I'm going away which is always helpful. I also love the plain design of the bottle as it easily tells you what the product is in easy to read black front.

The texture is really smooth and doesn't feel overly sticky which is a bonus as I don't think I could cope if my face felt sticky it would drive me mad, however it can become sticky if you apply to much.

I wouldn't really say that this product has a distinctive smell, and I defiantly can't smell anything when it is on my skin, like when a Clarins serum that was used on my hand I could smell it for hours to the point of making me feel ill, so this is defiantly a product I would recommend and for £12.99 you really can't go wrong.

Hair Care Haul

Today I went and got my hair cut and also decided to pick up some hair care products from my hair dressers. I went with my mam and we decided to get some products which is always nice it's not often that I will spend a lot of money on hair products but I think I may fall in love with these.

My new hair

The first thing I picked up was the Professional Sebastian Thickefy Foam: My mam was the one that decided to buy this and I was only too happy to agree. It is described on the bottle as a weightless and flexible styler, that creates the look and feel of naturally thick and volumes hair. I would agree with what's this says it does,l my hair dresser put this in my hair before she blow dried it and really does feel weightless and give me thickness and volume which is something I like. The thickening form was £21.50.

The second and third thing we bought go together we got the Wella System Professional Color Save Shampoo and Conditioner: This was something that I decided to buy as I need some more colour protecting shampoo and our hair dresser suggested this and I think it will work really well and we were also advised that we only need about a small amount about the size of a 5p to wash our hair which really does intrigue me and it also means that it should last for a while. With the conditioner she said that same thing and you always use less conditioner anyway. The Shampoo was £17.00 and the Conditioner was £14.00

Would you rather beauty edition

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
I would much rather lose all my lip glosses as I have a lot less of them, and I really love lipsticks and most of my eyeshadows and palette were presents so I really wouldn't want to lose them.

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I have had short hair before and it really doesn't look good on me, so I would much rather never be able to cut my hair again because I like long hair on me.

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
I would much rather have a coral cheek colour as it is harder to go over board on coral cheek colours and if I put to much pink on I look like a clown.

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
This is a hard one I would really like to spend £500 on each but if I had to choose then I would probably spend it on clothes I have always wanted be able to buy what I wanted clothes wise.

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
This question is evil I would much rather do neither but I would have to choose using eyeliner as lipstick as I can't imagine using lipstick as eyeliner.

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
We don't have Sephora in England so I would have to say MAC as I would have to travel to the States or to France so it would definitely be MAC.

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
I would much rather use one lip colour for the rest of my life and I would make it my MAC Lady Danger as it is one of my favourite colour that I could wear in summer and winter.

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
I would much rather wear summer clothes in winter as I could always just spend my time in the house with the heating on.

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
I would much rather have dark nails all year round because I summer I prefer to wear more pastel colour rather than really bright nail varnish.

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
I would much rather give up my naked palette as I am obsessed with lip products mostly lipstick.

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
I would probably wear my hair in a ponytail as it is really easy to do and it would be too much hassle to keep up and looking decent.

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
This is a really easy one as I don't really use lipgloss so I would rather never use lipgloss.

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
This us really hard as I wouldn't ever want to draw my eyebrows with a sharpie but I wouldn't want to shave them off either but I would have to choose drawing them in with a sharpie.

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
This again is hard as I really love both but I have to say I would rather live without nail varnish it would just be like I was back at school.

March Beauty Favourites

The first thing I have been loving is my Illamasqua Skin Base:
I have been using this almost everyday this month. I love the coverage that I can get with this foundation depending on the brush that I use. It is also the prefect colour for me and it doesn't wash me out which is a bonus an other reason that I like this foundation is that it doesn't make my skin feel oily which is a huge plus for me as I have really oily skin.

The second thing I have been loving this month is my Body Shop Honey Bronzer in the shade 002 fair:
I have had this Bronzer for awhile and I have found that it is the prefect shade for me as I have fair skin so I find it hard to get Bronzer that isn't too dark. I can also use this to contour and to just bronze up my face.

The third thing I have been loving this month is my Benefit There Real Mascara:
I have been using this mascara for a awhile now I have eventually finished my sample and opened my big tube that I got for Christmas and I really do love this mascara almost as much as my L'oreal volume million mascara. This really does make my lashes look lovely.

The fourth thing I have been loving this month is my Collection 2000 extreme 24hr Felt Tip Liner:
This is another thing that I have had for a while and I stopped using it and I have recently remembered how much I enjoy using eye liner and remembered how to do winged eyeliner which is a bonus. I am also really surprised that this hasn't dried out yet and for £2.99 it is a bargain.

The last thing I have enjoyed using is my Real Techniques Stippling Brush:
I bought this to use with my creme foundation but I have loved using this with all of my foundations this month, which means that I don't have as many brushes to clean which is a huge bonus as i normally put this off for as long as possible.
